With its ultra-thin profile of only 9 mm and weighing a mere 20 grams, this device can effortlessly fit into your pocket or purse, ensuring portability. However, there is a downside to its compactness, which I will discuss shortly.
One notable feature of the DRAGBAR Z700 SE is its fully visible juice window. Unlike many other disposable vapes, this device allows you to easily monitor your juice levels. This is a significant advantage, as it helps prevent the risk of dry hits or lets you know precisely when your device needs to be refilled.
The overall aesthetic of the DRAGBAR Z700 SE is visually appealing and exudes a sense of high-quality product design. The glossy body, combined with the transparent mouthpiece that showcases the juice reservoir, adds to its allure. However, there is a concern regarding the mouthpiece’s durability. When placed in a pocket and sat upon, there is a risk of the mouthpiece snapping off, leading to liquid spillage. Unfortunately, this occurred to me on the first day I carried the DRAGBAR Z700 SE outside.
Getting started
The DRAGBAR Z700 SE is a non-rechargeable disposable vape that does not offer airflow control. Getting started with this device is incredibly straightforward. Simply remove the device from its packaging. You may notice a sticker around the mouthpiece/juice reservoir and plugs on the top and bottom, which should be removed. Once these are taken care of, you’re ready to start puffing. There are no additional steps or settings to adjust. It’s as simple as that.
How does it hit?
According to ZOVOO/VOOPOO, the Gene Tree ceramic coil in the DRAGBAR Z700 SE offers enhanced atomization compared to ordinary cotton coils. This technology is designed to provide a fuller and more uniform vapor production while eliminating issues like spitting and popping from the coil.
In terms of the vaping experience, the DRAGBAR Z700 SE delivers a tight and quiet mouth-to-lung (MTL) hit. There are no instances of spitting or popping. Initially, I encountered some disposables that had a problem with e-juice entering the mouth, but it seems that issue has been resolved in the subsequent batch I received.
However, I still noticed some inconsistencies with the device. The hits sometimes have an overheated taste, despite not being a hot vape, and it feels like the device is on the verge of a dry hit or may even produce a dry hit. While not every unit exhibited this issue, it was more prevalent than not in my experience.
DRAGBAR Z700 SE best flavors
I received two shipments of the DRAGBAR Z700 SE, and the following comments refer to the first batch. However, the issues persisted with the second batch, rendering them practically unvapeable, unless one is in the mood for a dry ceramic flavor.
Among the Z700s from the first shipment that didn’t have a dry taste issue, the flavors were quite good. It’s unfortunate that the device’s performance doesn’t match the impressive scent of the flavors. Here are a few of my favorite flavors:
Banana Ice
This was the standout flavor from the first batch. The banana flavor is a delightful blend of baked and candy-like notes. It offers a flavorful banana experience with a moderate cooling effect. While it’s referred to as “ice,” the cooling sensation is not overwhelming.
Strawberry Banana
A pleasant fruity flavor that falls into the dessert category. Both the strawberry and banana flavors are easily discernible, and the aroma is enticing. It has a moderate level of sweetness, with the banana being the most prominent flavor. The inhale provides a subtle cooling sensation.
Blue Razz
A tangy vape that actually smells and tastes like raspberry. It has a mild level of sweetness and a faint cooling effect. It’s a typical but decent blue razz flavor.
Despite the enjoyable flavors, the overall performance of the DRAGBAR Z700 SE remains disappointing, making it difficult to fully appreciate the taste experience.
How long do they last?
Considering that the DRAGBAR Z700 SE is a TRPR/TPD compliant device, it’s expected that it won’t offer an extensive vaping experience. Additionally, these disposables tend to deplete juice quickly. Despite claims that the GENE TREE atomization technology enhances the puff count, I was able to finish a DRAGBAR Z700 SE in just half a day. However, it’s important to note that the device’s lifespan only pertains to the juice, as it is not rechargeable. As for achieving the claimed 700 puffs, it’s doubtful, especially considering that I tend to take longer drags.

Verdict
Despite the potential and promising features of the DRAGBAR Z700 SE, my negative experience with the device overshadows its positives. The wide range of flavors, slim design, silent MTL draw, and visible juice window are all appealing aspects for a disposable vape. However, the crucial factor of delivering a reliable hit without a dry taste remains unsatisfactory.
Increasing the resistance slightly could potentially alleviate the sensation of the vape being on the brink of burning. Unfortunately, finding a solution to improve the device’s durability is a more challenging task. The concern of the device breaking in one’s pocket is a significant issue, as it reflects typical usage rather than misuse. Nonetheless, if ZOVOO is able to address the problem of dry hits, I would still consider recommending the DRAGBAR Z700 SE, even if the durability issue persists.
